Event Management Company Website
A complete redesign and rebuild of the public website for a DET-licensed Dubai event management company. Barq Events plans, produces and staffs corporate conferences, weddings, registration and crowd management, and large scale activations across the UAE. The new site had to sell that capability to corporate procurement teams, not only to private clients.
The Challenge
The existing site was a single scrolling page. Each service was reduced to a paragraph, with no room to explain what the company actually delivers on the day, and nothing a procurement team could use to verify the business before raising a purchase order. Photography was hot linked and breaking. A new brand mark had been commissioned that the site did not reflect. And with the whole business on one URL, a company searching for "registration and crowd management Dubai" had nothing specific to land on.
Our Solution
We rebuilt the site as fourteen hand-coded pages with no framework and no CMS overhead, including a dedicated page for each of the six service lines, each with its own title, meta description and FAQ structured data. The design was built around the new brand mark: a dark canvas carrying the logo's exact orange and green as accents, a single typeface across the whole system, and a stage-light hero that lets event photography read as the product it is. A full Credentials page was added for corporate buyers, carrying the trade licence number, commercial registration, DCCI membership and the eight approved activities, because that is what gets a supplier shortlisted by clients of this size. Conversion was built around WhatsApp, which converts better than forms in this market, alongside a structured enquiry brief that captures date, headcount, venue and budget so the first reply can be a real answer rather than a request for more information. Every asset is bundled locally: self-hosted fonts, locally compressed WebP imagery, no Google Fonts, no hot linked files. The site makes zero third-party requests.
The Outcome
Live at barqevents.com. Fourteen pages at roughly 1 MB total including fonts, with no external dependencies and nothing at launch that requires a cookie banner. Six service pages now compete individually in search instead of one homepage competing for everything, and the Credentials page answers procurement questions without an email exchange. Deployed on cPanel with clean URLs, Apache caching and security headers, and handed over with a brand guide, the full logo asset set and a source generator, so adding a seventh service line is one entry in a content file rather than fourteen separate edits.
